350$ build for a good friend.

ilove64

Hello guys, I've never had a job before but I'm going to start working with my other friend to get my good friend a computer gift. My friend lives alone with his mom and has a tough time dealing with school and house work, although I sadly am not allowed to celebrate Christmas, for some reason I really feel the need to give :)

For the build, an OS isnt needed, would be nice if he could run most games at even low-mid settings. A monitor osnt imcluded in the budget but I'll take recommendations for a cheap monitor. Thx for helping me help my good friend.

NO MAIL AND REBATE PLEASE :D

Real tough without a monitor..I don't know.

Without a monitor it's supposed to be easier, isn't it? 400 works too if needed

Looks wonderful! ! By the way, how much is the CPU for since its not showing the price and are there any other options for a case and psu? I don't like the fact that im paying more money wothout getting anythong in return (from the mail in rebates)

wow, I keep on failing, I am sorry

EDIT: Now, the cpu was not included in the calculation before, so that messed up the whole pricing. I had to cut down on memory and hdd to make it fit within 400. the psu is the cheapest you can find with a decent quality, so Id leave that. Case of course, is a very subjective thing, but anything that holds an matx motherboard should fit the configuration.

Also 4GB ram is ok for the start, but Id recommend to get a second stick in the near future if possible.

Meaning that the budget has to be stretched by quite a bit losing from other components. But the guys should easily fill out with great builds!
