Benq XL2411Z + R9 270x Colours Help

WaterGun

Hello guys, I dunno what happened but I've kinda destroyed the colours of my monitor somehow, or I'm just blind and tired of looking at different colours by now, I dunno anymore.

Basically I've started to mess around with ICC profiles and such, with monitor settings and what not, and now the Red's are kinda reddish, the yellow's are kinda whithish and the green's are kinda whiteish aswell.

I'm using an ICC Profile that forum name's H4X3R posted in a similar thread made today. This is the Link:https://pcmonitors.info/icc/BenQ%20XL2420Z%20120Hz.icm

Im posting alot of photos I've taken with my phone (obviously I couldn't take screenshots) just to show you guys the colours difference between this and my first monitor an LG Flatron L1710S, it has never been like this before. (I've got the monitor for like 1 month now)

Also I have to mention something weird that I think happened afterwards I was messing around, its that the Blur Reduction is supposed to be ON when it like bursts you in the face with the brightness, the weird thing is that its labeled as OFF right now and its with the brigthness of it being ON. I think before it was like: ON=Alot of brightness OFF:Low Brightness right? Now its the opposite.

I leave here all the screenshots I've taken of my settings.

Thanks in advance already, you guys have helped me alot in the past ;)

Hi there watergun. Sorry that you have encountered some issues.

1) Blur Reduction ON = low brightness and OFF = high brightness, that is perfectly normal.

2) When i applied the ICC profile (didn't touch anything else), i got no such issue. I suggest setting your CCC settings to default. You can try the 144hz ICC profile:

https://pcmonitors.info/icc/BenQ%20XL2420Z%20144Hz.icm

3) On your monitor's OSD set gamma to 5.

Hello, oh ok so the blur reduction its not broken ok cool,

Yea I haven't done anything else after applying the ICC Profile, on CCC all the settings are default, Im using 144HZ aswell as that profile you just linked. Its slightly better cuz its a bit darker I think.

What do you mean with OSD gamma on my monitor?

What about all the other settings like black equalizer and stuff?

I also tried blur reduction ON playing fifa and I got alot of ghosting and blur O.o

Thanks

OSD = on screen display

Under the gamma section, choose gamma 5.

Black equalizer is optional, i have it on 1

Leave blur reduction off then.

Well, it seems that now i can't access the black equalizer which i could before. I suggest you remove the ICC profile and then try to change the gamma (i can still change it, but weird that i can't change black equalizer).

I'll look more into this issue and let you know what i find out.

@H4X3R Humm, thats weird then. Even after removing the ICC Profile I cannot change the gamma still, I can change the black equalizer tho.. this is really strange...
