Rant about my internet

I'm not really asking any question here, I'm just trying to blow off some steam through some rants so if this isn't the right place, just tell me.

 

I'm sick of the internet in my country. It's slow, unstable, censored, and I'm pretty sure it's throttled. I don't really mind having 5 megabit/s internet speeds, though a whole lot of sites seem slower than other. The biggest problem is that the government doesn't seem to believe in a free internet. Sure, I get that porn sites may get blocked because they're porn, but imgur, reddit, pirate bay, and even bakabt gets blocked with . A few months back there used to be a statement that says the reason why they blocked the site, and now it's all just ads. While those in the US are fighting for net neutrality, I still have to go back and forth between vpn and regular connection to browse stuff. I envy you people.

Have you tried using Google's DNS instead of your ISP DNS?

Maybe some of you are lucky and the ISP if blocking your websites using the DNS.

Try using a public DNS like 8.8.8.8 and see if it works.
