1440p Gaming Monitor Help

PigGong

Hi guys! I'm soon going to build a new gaming PC and I need your help deciding on the monitor. I'm getting a GTX 970 Gaming G1 form Gigabyte. I want a good 1440p monitor and my budget is about 550-600$. I'm really not familiar with monitors so I'd really appreciate if you could explain your reasoning for choosing a specific monitor. Also I'm 90% sure about going for the 1440p one but you tell me if it's worth it :D Again I will be using it for heavy gaming and (don't kill me) watching anime. Thank you for helping!

Also tell me if you need some more information!

The ROG Swift is too expensive in my country (Serbia). Something like 1000$. So that's off. And you can't find that ASUS one in here either. I've been thinking about the Dell U2713HM but I've also heard some bad things about it's gaming capabilities and overall performance.

Yeah, pretty much what @kameshss mentioned before, the Asus PB278q is the best monitor in your price range but it you want a "gaming" monitor go with the ROG swift, its 1440p, 144hz etc but it depends on how much you can go over your target budget.

Nope. Although I can squeeze in the ROG if I get just a little bit cheaper MOBO and a cheaper SSD. Right now in my plan there is a ASUS Z97 Sabertooth Mk2 and a Samsung 840 EVO 250GB. Right now I'm 200$ away from the Swift.
