Looking for best 5,5'+ phone that supports 4g, and there's more.

A friend of mine needs a new phone. She wants it to be at least as big as my Oneplus One (5,5').

She wants to use it for GPS in the car, so a strong clear screen would also be handy. She needs the GPS software to detect not only static speed cameras but also mobile ones. I am curious Linustechtips: Is there software like this?

She will need a good internet connection on the go, that's why I think 4g is the best option.

As of now, the only two qualified competitors that I can find are the LG G3 and the Nexus 6.

Too bad I can't just get her a Oneplus, it does not fully support 4g, apparently.

Thanks for reading and thanks in advance.

Thanks for your answer. I think the G3 is a solid option.

The GPS software is also Very important, anyone got any leads on that? It has to navigate while detecting speed camera's and mobile speedcamera's. I can only find dedicated speed camera apps so far.

Google maps is good for GPS, but what is with the speed cameras though?

She often drives too fast, so the tickets are piling up, haha

I don't know what you mean

One thing you need to know about 4G is that its coverage varies so depending on where she's travelling she may be downgraded to H+ anyway.

If you go for KPN or Vodafone, you're covered almost anywhere in the Netherlands :)

Not sure how I feel about this, you're aiding her in a crime.

Someone pointed me towards Waze. It's a free community driven navigation app. Everyone adds locations of where cops hang out etcetera, very handy ^^

T mobile works with the OPO completely with 4g, but they don't have good coverage everywhere

I have a OnePlus One and get 4G LTE, but I'm in Canada, not sure about the Netherlands and what LTE frequencies they use there.
