Mouse Recommendations (CS:GO)

Hello!

I recently broke My Razer DA ;( and wanted to try something new

Now, I loved my deathadder, especially the triggers it had, they were so light and amazing to press. Also the mouse buttons were in a perfect place, so they didn't fell like they were in the way, or too hard to get too.

 

However, I am looking for something else, however I wan't it to have 5+ buttons (Like the DA) and really good, light triggers, like the DA

 

I was looking at the Logitech G502, but heard its somewhat heavy (which I do not mind at all honestly, but would prefer something light), so I was also looking at the G402. Also considering the Zowie FK1 which looks like an amazing little mouse, but heard it has quite slow triggers (input lag) and a horrible mouse wheel (which doesn't upset me since I change weapons with numbers) so not sure.

 

No I do not want another DA, so that's not a recommendation

 

I also want optical only

 

If it helps my settings are, I use 400 DPI m_rawinput 1, Mouse accel off, 2.25 In-game sens, and 500 Hz, so please base oyur recommendations of this.

G502 for days

Steelseries rival, corsair sabre come to mind.  The sabre uses the same sensor as the Deathadder.  Linus has a review of it if youd like to know more.

I tried out the rival.  Its a fantastic FPS mouse with a "perfect" optical sensor.  I've heard about problems people have had with the cord being stiff though.

A lot of pro CSGO players use the Zowie FK1.  Its a fantastic mouse.

Would say the Mionix mouse recommended by @droidxd00d is pretty good. The Zowie FK1 will do you nicely too.

You could also look into the Logitech G400 (non S) if you liked the feeling of your old DA, although the clicks on the G400 are a bit unsatisfying IMO.

The Mionix Avior 7000 and Naos 7000 both can go to 400 DPI with 500 MHz pooling rate. Both are pretty dang light and feel great in the hand. If you have a claw grip I would stray towards the Avior, and if you palm the mouse or have big hands go for the Naos. That's my suggestion! They also have the optical sensor with no acceleration.
