I was just wondering I was gonna get 1600mhz ram, but the CPU only supports 1333mhz ram so will it go down automatically by its self?  The build is a budget ish build, but I'm using the Intel as a filler before I upgrade to the i5.  I was just wondering does anyone know the best atx motherboard for the intel pentium g3258 costing between £50-£80.

Pretty much anything from a trusted brand like, Asus, MSI and Gigabyte that fits the CPU is enough for the Motherboard.

It will clock down to the spec of the board automatically. One of the nice perks of living in the information age. There's not a whole lot of benefit to gaming from higher-clocked memory unless you have an APU, but it's a nice thing to have, I guess. You can get crazy latencies on 1333, mind you.

I run 1333mhz ram with a G3258 and it's fine. As far as motherboards go, get the cheapest one you can that supports overclocking after a UEFI update.

CPU- 4690k @4.5ghz / 1.3v    Mobo- Asus Maximus VI Gene   RAM- 12GB GSkill Assorted 1600mhz   GPU- ASUS GTX 760 DCUII-OC
