Hello, i just registered today on linustechtips, but have been watching most of his vids for a awhile now.
i have started to watch his how to vid on making pc, i have a some question because i am going to make a new pc setup and want to know if these are comptible or have any ompatibility issues

power supply i will be using my previos  pc psu which is a - http://www.corsair.com/en/hx-series-hx750-power-supply-750-watt-80-plus-gold-certified-modular-psu

 

the only thing left is a  case that can hold it can anyone recommend me one good case iv seen linus did a video on the NZXT PHANTOM 530 but are there any other brands
also will my power supply be able to juice the whole rig or do i need a new psu adn what would be a good recommendation, cant find any good psu wattage calc for reference

Everything it totally comparable. The only thing you really need to look at is the Motherboard and CPU.

 

As you can see the CPU says LGA 1150. That is the socket type. On the mobos page it says it is also LGA 1150. Therefore, you're golden.

 

What's your budget on a case?

PSU is beefy enough. If this is a gaming rig, this is pretty solid. Do we have an overall budget? And price for case?

thanks, will be able to save some money on the PSU :D

 

budget on the case i can go around 100-120$

overall budget is around 1000-1200$ or is that overboard enough?
