If you could build a PC today? Money isn't an issue.

SirReallySam

Why ECC?

Why not?  If I am going to go with a Xeon and a workstation board I may as well get ECC memory.  Its going to be slower but darnit when I play solitaire on that thing when its supposed to be a king of clubs that turns over its GOING to be a king of clubs!!!  (obviously thats a joke but the question really is why not ECC if you are going with a xeon e5 the CPU and the board were really made with ECC in mind)

all that and only a H80i in a TJ11??

There is really no need for anything more.  Its a Xeon E5 its not meant to be over clocked.  And the H80i would work perfectly with the system.  Cool air coming in from the bottom of the rotated case design exited out the top with the h80i in push/pull to make sure air is exiting the system well enough.

Step 1. Buy with slightly different storage setup

Step 2. Virtualise

Step 3. ???

Step 4. Profit.

Step 1: Anything particular in mind ;) ? Wouldn't really want to use such a maschine for storage.

Step 2-4: Yeah, exactly! Could host all my clients Webapplications and Websites on there and still do some folding or something.
