Voiding your Warranty

I am buying a s3 neo and I want custom roms on it. How can my carrier check if its rooted? Is it worth it? I dont think I need the warranty at all. I wont drop the phone and brake the glass.

In EU you can root all you want all they check is hardware. Dunno where you live.

once you flash stock rom back via odin ,they cant (this doesnt relate to S4 and above devices that has eFuse)

I am in Europe , here they dont void warranty for rooting <3

Isn't S3 Neo a rerelease so it could have eFuse?

you might be right but I havent heard about knox in S3 neo but it uses the same chipset as my S4 mini does which has a efuse

But the Europe thing still works right? And there is 2 s3 neo models - i9301i and i9300I

efuse is a hardware fuse if its blown you basically modified your hardware so not sure

Is there any warranty to read? I think there is in the settings.

Samsung puslapi : Garantija netaikoma Produkto trūkumams, kurie atsirado dėl: 

  • Nepatvirtintų dalių ar medžiagų, kurios nėra pagamintos, tiekiamos ar patvirtintos Samsung, naudojimo arba dėl trečiųjų šalių programinės ar kompiuterijos įrangos naudojimo, operacinės sistemos problemų ar konfigūracijos klaidų;   
  • Bet cia trukumams kurie atsirado del to. Pvz netaiso uzbrikinto telefono. Bet vistiek neaisku ar garantini nuima ar ne.
