Why does bf4 randomly quit on me?

Specs

i74790k

asus vii hero

gtx 770 4gb

16gb pny ram @1333

caviar blue 1tb

evga 1000p2 (was going to get another gpu but plans changed)

every time I try to play bf4, I play for about 5 minutes perfectly, then the sound cuts out and the screen goes black for a few seconds and my home screen for my desktop appears!!! the battle screen on my other monitor keeps counting the game clock down like Im still in the game. The bf4 game icon is still in the windows bar, and if I click on it my cursor just goes away. Task manager doesn't even detect the bf4 icon, and I have to restart my pc to get ride of it. Things Ive tried, updating gpu, repair installing bf4, playing at different graphics levels and even re-installing bf4. If anyone has any idea on how to fix this I would be very thankful!

Do you run a pagefile?

I had a problem when i first got BF4 where the game would randomly crash after a few mins, and i wasn't using a pagefile at the time,

Setting it to windows controlled solved the problem for me...

hope this helps
