i would recomend using a bit more money and get an tp link 1043nd http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002YLAUU8 but if you dont need a 1gbps router you could go with somthing like this http://www.amazon.com/dp/B003Y5RYNY

I agree with anders_b either of those routers would do the trick.  But, to add to what he said...  IF your budget is NOT able to be increased, then check out all the used wifi routers on ebay, many under $20!  http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_sacat=0&_nkw=wireless+router&_frs=1   Merry Christmas, hope this helps!!

I have zero experience with Vizio wifi routers & network equipment.  Their TVs are nice.  The reviews of this router are not bad, others that have reviewed have said it was a solid router.  It's $20 on newegg & $30 on amazon.  I cannot make your decision for you, but this is an entry level router, as long as you are NOT expecting it to cover a HUGE amount of square footage and have super long range, as long as you realize it's an entry level router - then go ahead with the purchase.  Hope this helps!

Yea my room isn't too far from the router and we have really shit internet anyway so its not worried about transfer speeds. I just don't want to buy a new one every year or two. Thanks for the help.
