Installing h100i after build?

Hey everyone,

I have every part for my new system expect for the h100i. Would it be a bad idea to install everything in the case with the stock cooler and replace it when I get the h100i, or should I wait?

It's fine to do that, just clean off the thermal paste from the stock cooler's paste off of the CPU with a coffee filter and 90% or higher isopropyl. :)

just change the cooler later, it only takes 5 minutes :) 

 

CHECK that your case has a motherboard cut out, because otherwise you will have to remove your motherboard to install the h100i

No, the cooler can be put in after. Just make do with the stock cooler for now, then switch it out when the H100i arrives.

70% is fine just make sure its really clean
