Changing my graphics card, steps to take when swapping?

WaterGun

Hello everyone from this great forum, I'am here to ask for the exact steps to take when swapping a graphics card.

I'am swapping a HD 4650 for a Gigabyte GTX 660 and I wanted to know what exact steps that I have to make to unnistall the old AMD drivers completely and install the latest Nvidia ones, which driver sweeper to use and at which step.

Help is much appreciated and thanks for all the answers in advance ;)

Here you go. DL Driver sweeper. Reboot in safe mode (msconfig, safe mode, reboot) open driver sweeper then just check the ATI box and remove those drivers, reboot. Then back into msconfig, normal boot, reboot. Swap out video cards, install new drivers and have fun doing it :D

Ok thank you, once I get the card those are the steps that I'll take, which overclocking software is better? MSI Afterburner, EVGA Precison X, ASUS GPU Tweak or some other?

I use Sapphire TriXX for OCing because of how clean it looks with GPU-Z for monitoring. They all almost work perfectly, use any you like.
