generic title is generic.

So my keyboard is starting to crap out on me lately. Need think of new one.

Thing I want:

-Black w/ blue backlight

-quiet switch

-preferably with removable/no numpad

-quieter and less stiff then mx black

-no k70

-programmable media keys (play/next track/previous track/media player/etc)

budget doesn't matter because it's in the planning phase now.

I am Canada.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

If you want as much features packed into the smallest package possible, then you would have to look at something like a Ducky Mini. Though, they don't have any dedicated media keys for playback and such. And are only available in silver or grey.

But if you need the dedicated media buttons... Geez. I don't know. I can't think of many keyboards less than full-size that has dedicated media buttons.

Ah, well then the Cooler Master Quickfire TK sounds like a wonderful choice for you.

Or that Ducky I listed above.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

The TK has a numpad and the arrow keys cuz of it's design. That Ducky has no numpad unless I'm mistaken.

This has white back lighting but it's almost there http://www.amazon.com/QuickFire-Mechanical-Keyboard-ActivLite-Technology/dp/B00M562EQU/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1419219073&sr=1-1&keywords=quickfire+rapidi

which mx switch is the quietest?

Browns with O-rings or Reds with O-rings. Both are about the same, although reds can only make noise when pressed down all the way (browns make a dull thump) so reds with O-rings are probably quieter. But if both are stock, then browns for sure.
