Hi guys,
So my friend wanted a new gaming Rig and I told him I am gonna help him put togheter the components.

Budget: 2800$
He needs perhiples and a Monitor(he would like to have the PB238Q)

Hope the Community can help me out. btw he doesn't care spending all the 2800$

I left off the keyboard as that's a very personal choice.  I'd suggest a nice mechanical one though.  I left room in the budget for the keyboard but once you factor in tax it'll most likely pass $2800.  I guess you can remove the 140mm fans if you like.  The 120mm is needed for the heatsink though.

 

I also think the Dell U2414H is a much better choice of monitor so I stuck that in place of the ASUS one. Dual monitors is also the best thing ever.

 

Here is also a second build based on an i5-4690K and dual 970s.  Slightly cheaper and a bit better performance, although not quite as nice looking in my opinion ;)

If you want to spend the full $2800 then you could swap the i5 for the i7 and add a 2nd GTX 970.
 
Mouse/Keyboard can be changed for your own personal pref as well.
