I am planning on building a budget gaming pc for $800-$900 and i have all the figured out all the parts except for the graphics card. I have looked at the msi r9 280(without the X,) but i am not sure if that would be a good pair with the i5-4440. Is there any better graphics card that is better than the msi r9 280 at a price point of nothing more than $200?

Yep, 280 is fine. And anything will do. That cpu can handle about anything you throw at it :)

I have a 280 and it's perfect. I love it. Got the Gigabyte one for $200.
