Hey guys,

i was thinking about upgrading my GPU's. I have currently HD6970 and a HD6950 in crossfire, my question is should i buy a GTX 770 or wait till the GTX 780 price drops or the HD8000/HD9000 series are realesed?

(i say 9000 series because there are rumors that AMD are just going to do OEM HD8000 series and jump to HD9000)

or wait till the GTX 780 price drops

You will be waiting a LONG time I would go 770 or wait for AMD

I wouldn't be on your toes about any new updates. Go with the 780. Right now its probably the best single gpu besides titan.

Why do people recommend a 770 when the 7970 is the same price, pretty much preforms the same and comes with 4 games?

The games i already have, with the cards i have now its like 30% jump and i want more then that, because i get 2 high end cards and have them for a 2yr cycle :)
