Mirror's Edge Not Working - Help

Hopefully this is the right place to post this thread.

 

Bought Mirror's Edge a while back. Couldn't get it to work but I'm quite interested in playing it cause it seems fun.

 

If I recall I'd tried both running through Origin and launching the .exe directly and in both cases the game just didn't launch.

 

I'm aware it's an old game and my computer is Win8.1.

 

I think I tried downloading some old PhysX thing or something but it didn't do anything (this was a while back so I don't mind retrying).

 

Any help?

Can't confirm if the download didn't corrupt or something but it was installed (I think I even uninstalled and reinstalled which I bet my ISP loved).

Try disabling PhysX. I had to do that when i last played it.

The option is in the game settings itself.

 

GO to the main menu and check the graphics settings, you may need to click an advanced option, i don't remember exactly.
