Would love to do this way rather than doing it manually (command prompt). Heard some love-hate reviews so it confused me. Has anyone tried it before? Using it for windows 8.1

I'm really a newbie and by looking at the preview provided by the website, it looks too advanced for me lol. what is a "gft partition" and a "uefi computer"? If you can, do you know if the method I showed works?

GPT = guid partition table (alternative to old MBR, that allow you to create tons of partitions in your disk. Used by Windows 8, 8.1, linux, OS X, ...)

uefi = unified extensible firmware interface (alternative to old BIOS. Used by OS X, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and some Linux distros)  

so if i used rufus, what settings should i use?

Do I just change the type to ISO image and I'm all set? Or should I change the partition type too? Sorry if I'm bothering you guys. It's just that everything is new to me and I get really really really curious. >.< Force of habit
