Ad tabs popping up?

Go to solution Solved by TDP_Equinox,

You have adware!

Now you get to have fun spending the next 8-16 hours removing any trace of it!

HitmanPro Link: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/hitmanpro/
RogueKiller Link: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/roguekiller/
and Make sure you have MSE installed so you can run it.

Run each one as admin and remove all the stuff they find.
Reset all your browsers, remove any extensions, and go into add/remove programs and remove anything bad.
If you do not know what it is, remove it (unless the publisher is legit).

It doesn't happen frequently but sometimes ads pop up in new tabs

What do I do? Malware bytes didn't detect anything.

The ads themselves are harmless websites for clothes or tech items, anything really, but a tab just shows up and that is disturbing./

Yes (not on this site though)

Same here. No idea what it could be then.

Does it happen on any particular site?

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

I mean......Ain't nobody got time fo dat

I was exaggerating on the time frame, it won't be as long.

It will honestly be more work to re install everything than it is to fix it.
