Backlight Bleed or IPS Glow?

So I just got my 34um95 in. Looking at the monitor striaght on, the corners appear to be brighter. When looking at each corner straight on they are not as bright as before and just as dark as surrounding area. From what I've read, this is IPS Glow, meaning a new monitor would not help. From experience with IPS panels, is this true? Note: The 34um95 is a 34inch ultra wide monitor meaning the brightness shift of IPS glow will be different, greater, on this monitor. I can post pics if necessary, just looking for some general info. Thanks!

Thanks Glenwing. I attempted to take a photo of it, but like many others posting pics of back light, it over exaggerates the light significantly. I will note though, the picture makes it look just as bad as many of the cases on the internet. The only time I can actually tell it's there, when the room is completely dark, is when the screen is completely black. This leads me to believe it is normal, and I will not be RMAing. Couldn't recommend this monitor enough

Yeah.  IPS glow is really only apparent on dark images.  Everything you describe sounds normal :)
