PC: (I already own the parts.)

CPU: Intel Core i3 4150 (Plan to upgrade to an i5 a year or so after broadwell comes out.)

Motherboard: Asrock H97M Anniversary

Ram: Kingston Fury Series 8GB 1866MHz

Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 160GB (Upgrading to a Black Series 1TB once I buy a GPU.)

GPU: Plan to either get a GTX 670, 760, or 770.

PSU: EVGA 500W 80+ bronze certified PSU

Case: I own a Lian Li PC-601. Everything's in it, and it has plenty of airflow..Great case if you don't care about looks.

I might wait and see how much the GTX 960 sells for when it comes out..By then maybe the higher-end 700 series cards like the GTX 770 may be a bit cheaper on sites like Ebay. I also plan to in the future make a custom case just because it would be fun..

Other thoughts: Do you think when Broadwell comes out, Haswell might sell cheaper on sites like Ebay? Would my motherboard even support Broadwell?

i3? nice choise for edditing but in newer games you will strugle and yeah w8 for the gtx 960 if you are not in a hurry because its not coming out soon

I'm just playing Minecraft and a few other games released for Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. I have an Xbox 360 for other parts. I picked up the PSU, CPU, motherboard, and ram for $250. Also, the i3 can handle 30 fps while recording with integrated GPU. Perfectly fine for me. I'm not the kind of guy who needs 60 fps maximum settings.

i would wait for brodwell then buy a new CPU and mabey the 960 depending on how much it costs

That's most likely what I'm going to do..When the i3 gets bad enough so that I can't handle it, then I'll definitely switch!
