The 4690k has a FCLGA socket type,this is the same as lga right?

4b33r, please give us your budget so we can make you a system. Also the 4690k will fit in any LGA1150 socket yes

For below $200 the i5 4460, or 4590 are usually available.

 

The 4690k has a FCLGA socket type,this is the same as lga right?

It just means "Flip Chip LGA (Land Grid Aray").

 

It's LGA1150.
