I'm going to soon be upgrading to Hyper X ram 2x4gb sticks 8gb. I was wondering would it be ok to have those to plus the original Crucial 1x8gb stick in my computer together or would it cause issues? This is the ram that was stock in my computer

http://www.amazon.com/Crucial-PC3-12800-Unbuffered-240-Pin-CT102464BA160B/dp/B00AZGZFGS/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1418712998&sr=8-9&keywords=crucial+8gb+ram+ddr3

and this is the ram I want to upgrade to

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00J8E8ZLK/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1Y1XAJ6GCWUT7&coliid=IVIBR7H3L1GNE&psc=1

So I'm just wondering if I wanted to keep the 8gb stick I'm just wondering if it would be ok to have them together or if I'm just better off getting another 8gb Crucial stick?

When you run three stick of ram, you are running only single channel instead of dual channel.

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

its usually rine as long as the ram is the same speend and the same size.

it SHOULD work but since one is a 8gn and 2 are gonna be 4bg maybe not. but from personal experience, it works 99% of the time

another question then should I want to upgrade to 32gbs just for fun or even only 24gbs would it still be ok to mix different kinds of ram together as long as their the same ddr?

32 is way overkill, 24 I wouldn't do, yes

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.
