I'm planning a build using a 540 Air, and I want large heatsinks to be the central theme of it. I have several large CPU heatsinks in mind, but I really can't find a lot of VGA options for the GTX700 series. For sale anywhere, at least.

I should also add that this would be my first build, so if I sound like a noob about certain aspects of anything, that would be why.

I was interested in Prolimatech's MK-26 Black, but the clearance needed is greater than the case will allow. By only 5mm... Sad... So smexy...

If I found something along the lines of Thermalright's Spitfire, well, that would just be perfect!

At the moment, it looks like my only buyable option that will fit in the case is the MK-13 by Prolimatech, but I'm not sure if it's even compatible.

Can anybody help me find the tasty knowledge that I crave? Maybe there's a website full of large heatsinks that I just haven't discovered yet. I dunno. Any help given would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much!

I used an HR-03 on my GTX 260 C216. Cooler was beast however the heatsinks for the ram + vrm got SUPER hot. If you are going the aftermarket cooling route make sure you have good airflow across the entire PCB. If the heatsinks look puny you can buy some additional ones from Zalman. Pretty much all of the coolers you listed off are good. Thermalright generally make good coolers (however out of the box build quality can leave a little to be desired....mine arrived with a couple of bent fins, nothing serious though).

That HR-03 looks nice! But, if I found one, would there be any compatibility issues?

And ya, I'd make sure the PCB gets enough airflow. I like the idea of using oversized heatsinks in an Air 540 with lots of quality fans.
