So I have 6GB of memory and usually, when I turn the computer on, it uses ~1.7GB (So, Windows uses ~1.7GB) and right now, I just roughly added up all the processes' memory usage and got it to about ~1.6GB. So I'm using 3.3GB of memory, right? No. I'm using 4.7GB according to the task manager.

So I've pretty much no idea what's going on lately with this, it started just a couple days ago, it hasn't always been like this, which is even more confusing to me. I haven't really downloaded anything... the only thing I've downloaded really is windows updates. This computer is turning 6 in a couple of months, so maybe it's just old age? :'(

If anyone has a clue what could be going on, or any way to fix it... feel free to enlighten me. Thanks in advance ^_^

Most probably just Cached files.

Download RAMmap and check File Summary tab. Use Empty Standby List to clear it.
