Hey guys o/!

I just built a PC and well, the PSU or the Motherboard has a factory fault :(. I would rather see if the cheaper item & easier to replace item will make the PC work.

I'm on a budget of less then £100.

I live in England.

And the PC is http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/HighDig/saved/tVY2FT .

Please post below if you require more info.

Did you build it  brand new? Just RMA the parts in question.

Yeah, it was all brand new and built by me. Also.

The PSU wont turn on. When I switch on the PSU and the front Power button, it just does nothing.

Are all the cables properly connected ?

So check the 8 pin cpu and 24 pin atx cable

Same goes with the graphics card cables and cpu fan/pump cables.

You can also try starting the pc with a flat blade screwdriver. If you disconnect the front panel cable that goes to the power switch on the motherboard then just bridge the contacts with the screwdriver and see if it boots up.

Thanks mate. I'll triple check them and also do what you said.
