Best storage drive?

hello everyone,

I'm looking to buy a new drive to add next to my 128GB SSD and 1TB western digital caviar black.

I basically need a drive to store my game recordings, music, films...

So what do you think is the best (~4TB) drive just for these things and a decent price?

seagate barracuda, or WD red if you need reliability, but its more expensive.

Hi there Charles Carron!

Basically, any hard drive would do a good job, still, the design of the certain drive is also important, in order to maximize the performance of your needs.

For instance, you need a drive for storage purposes, around the 4TB range and from which you are going to often load the movies/music etc. Then the WD Black would do great, as it is designed for maximum performance and is available at 4TB.

If you think that would be too much, then a storage designed hard drive is the WD Green, though it has IntelliPower and thus is designed for back ups and archiving, but is still available at that capacity.
