My case all together has 9 fan slots, and I'm gonna fill all 9 fan slots up, currently have 8 taken.

My case is a CM Storm Scout 2.

2 120MM Corsair SP120 Quiet Edition Fan's (On Top)

2 Stock 120MM CM Storm Scout 2 Fans (Front of the case)

1 Stock 120MM CM Storm Scout 2 Fan (Back of the case)

Bottom (No fan there)

2 SP120 are blowing outside the case

1 Stock 120MM Fan outside the case

2 Stock 120MM Fans inside the case

What would be the best fan configuration? PS. I'm upgrading the stock fans to Corsair SP120's soon

Tell me what fans should blow inside and what fans should blow outside? Help please <3

Complete noob at this.

Back- exhaust  Fronts- intakes   Tops- exhausts       That's a pretty standard set-up

I believe it is, I haven't really seen anyone do anything any diffrent with those points for fans hardly ever, and if they did it wasn't as good. The only way it could be better is if there was an intake on the side pannel around the PCI slots to pull in air there too

OH YEAH! There's 2 fan slots on the side panel!

I forgot to mention that in the OP! Should those be intake or exhaust?

The norm is Front/Side intake Top/Rear Exhaust. It follows the rules of thermal dynamics. You want the cooler air flowing over your HDD's & GPU then as the air heats up it rises to meet your CPU where it is exhausted out the top and rear of the case.

Well if no-one answerd it yet, I'd use them as intakes myself; although, I'd only use the bottom one of two myself, but I'd say intakes deffinatly

I always try to keep at least 1 more fan blowing in the case then out of the case.

so if you have 2 blowing in ( taking air from out side or intake ) and 3 blowing out ( taking air from inside your case, blowing it out or exhaust) this will cause a negative pressure in your case. witch will lead to sucking dust in all of the cracks, around your case, 5.25 bay doors, slots around your side panel ect.

If you really wanted to get technical you could figure out the static pressure and the air flow of each fan, and do some math. of you can get a manometer. and check the internal pressure or negative pressure inside your case.

this is all assuming you have filtered intake fans. but generally speaking front and sides are intakes, back and top are exhaust. +1 intake fan vs exhaust.

I would recommend an intake on the side of your case if you have reference design cooler (blower style) on your graphics card. If however you have a aftermarket cooler such as a wind force cooler from gigabyte i would have the fans as exhausts. If you don't have a graphics card have them as intakes provided they have filters.
