I recommend you buy an EVGA Supernova G2 or (any) SeaSonic PSU for same or less money as that PSU isn't the greatest. Also, buy two 970s instead of one 980 if you want more bang-for-your buck.

As for the case, ask around about that case. I've heard that it isn't that great for the money. Look into a Phanteks Enthoo Primo for a great full tower.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

I'd advise the X99 deluxe> R5E, and i'd advise pretty much any case other than the 900d. Enthoo primo would probably be a good choice

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it

I was thinking of getting SeaSonic tho, could you mention SeaSonic PSU that has more watts? For the 970s is it the same as one 980 performance? thanks for your replay n sorry for my bad English n questioning too many questions as you can see I don't have that experience about computers.

I believe your computer with two GTX 970s will be safe with 650 watts, but you should get more wattage if you want to be safe. Here's a very good EVGA power supply that's around your budget http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-220g20850xr You can also look into this Seasonic power supply http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seasonic-power-supply-x850

And for the 970s compared to the 980s, the power of a single 980 isn't as good as two 970s which cost about the same amount of money. If you want a single 980 though, you can do this - it's just not the best you can do for your money in my own opinion.

hmm I'll stick with X99 deluxe, but why is R5E is more expensive?

What do you think about NZXT Phantom cases?

R5E is more expensive because it's ROG, and ROG is #g4m3r sw3g

And NZXT phantoms are...uh...alright, if you don't mind they're almost entirely made of plastic. It's really a turn off. They're decently made cases, but there is zero quality because of the all plastic construction.

You can provided that your motherboard allows you to which I believe it can. But if two 970s isn't enough for your needs after a few years then you should just buy a new GPU then rather than adding another.

Yea, those three golden plugs on the rear IO are for wifi antenna connectors

wish I didn't buy 5960X in the first place, I was too excited to build a pc, but my brother trying to build a gaming pc I'll recommand him this one.

If its just purely for gaming get an I5, there is no need for anything more. You gain no fps over an I5 to an I7. If however he is doing other CPU intensive stuff like 3d work/rendering then yeah.

I think 970s will be more than enough even after a years and there might be better GPU in future so I don't need to worry about it.

Yes you can return it within 30 days and get a full refund. Really the CPU is just not needed at all for what you want it to do and the vast amount of money you spend on it + DDR4 RAM wont give you more benefit from gaming. Adding another  GPU would however have a massive effect of FPS. Its just pure and simple... The I5/I7-4790K is no way near a bottleneck for us right now and anything more is just an expensive waste.

Alright mate, I'll return it tomorrrow and get I7-4790K. but when I changed the CPU in the list it says Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor and Asus X99-DELUXE ATX LGA2011-3 Motherboard are not compatible. It means I have to change motherboard too.  http://pcpartpicker.com/p/7fz2TW

Yeah you will also need to change RAM for DDR3 not DDR4 but all in all the CPU/MOBO/RAM is cheaper and you can buy another 980 with that money most likely if not get damn close to buying another.

Aha, What DDR3 do you recommend me to get? Do u think it will make a difference (Fps) if I add 980?

And for the MOBO which one do I have to pick?

Any DDR3 is fine 1600mhz is the sweetspot for gaming but higher wont hurt. As for the mobo you could go for the Asus ROG Hero or somthing like that. Yes adding another 980 will add FPS in game that support SLI do you plan to game in 1080p or higher resolutions?
