NZXT H440 - Problem with Front Panel Audio

Hello everyone,

I've just finished my first PC build and I am really happy with it.

Everything seems to be working fine.

 

However, I have a small problem that I am still trying to fix: There is no audio coming out from the front panel audio plug. It works when I plug my headset in the back audio plug but nothing from the front.

I have a Gigabyte Z97X-UD5H (MoBo) and a Gigabyte GTX 970 (GPU).

 

Any idea on what might be causing this ?

Check your audio pins that you plug into your motherboard, whether they're correct or not.

 

second possiblity is that you have a faulty H440 with broken front USB hub

Front panel audio ports can be a problem with a lot of cases, if you have a back panel audio then I suggest just using that.

Yes, I simply forgot to plug the audio pins. It was hidden under the rest of the cables.

Working fine now
