Hi guys,
My current set-up is all air cooled - Hyper 212+, Crossfire Sapphire tri-x r9 290's.

The problem is all the exhaust heat from these components is vented into the case, so as the air moves past each part it gets hotter:

I'm hoping to use CLLC to help reduce the heat build-up. These are some idea's I had for possible set-ups (temps are made up estimates)...
Option 1 (Single 140mm CLLC for CPU):

Option 2 (280mm CLLC for CPU, 140mm for GPU1 with Kraken G10 and vrm heatinks):

Option 3 (Same as option 2 but changed airflow):

Low noise is a priority for me and I have no personal experience with closed loops or water cooling in general.
1) will these set-ups work in being a low noise solution to the heat build-up issue?
2) is there a limit to coolant temperature - is it OK to manually set CLLC fans to low speed and have higher temps ie. 80°C?

I would say get the h55, place in on your CPU and put the rad as intake as shown in your first diagram. That should be enough to prevent your parts from throttling

What about turning the rear exhaust fan around and the fan on your Hyper 212 around?

It will intake fresh air from the back and the top fan will exhaust all the heat, it looks like a 200mm fan at the top so it should do fine by itself.

@xnoobftw - Thanks for the recommendation, I'll look into the H55.

@Fate - Good idea, I've swapped the rear fan to intake and Hyper 212 fan over, certainly dropped the cpu temps. The system overall is still hot and noisy unfortunately :P

So thinking of getting the kraken x41 for GPU and x61 for CPU, running fans slow for low noise and hopefully it will stay cool enough. :)
