£100-150 bridge camera with manual focus?

Hey guys,

can anyone recommend a good all round bridge camera that has a manual focus option. would be good if it could take good macro shots but not the end of the world if it can't. will be used mainly by my mum who wants to get more in photography and get used to focusing manually without spending lots of money just yet, so pictures ill be taken of just about anything and everything.

thanks people!

I bought a used Panasonic DMC-FZ50 for 100$ a few months ago. It's still in a good shape.

The only disadvantage I found was the maximum video resolution of (i think) 800x600, but that was fine for me.

It's really a awesome camera with a lot of "semi-professional" features - definately worth the money.

and if you need a remote for it, you can build it yourself with 3 resistors and two switches:

At that price consider Nikon COOLPIX P310, has some disadvantages but the price is right.

P310 is not a bridge camera FYI
