Is mining with the GTX 970 at 650 MH/s worth it?

Sadly its not worth it. Either go buy an r9 290x or go with an asic based solution.

Don't buy either of them.

Seriously people, if you think you can make money from mining cryptocurrencies than you are fooling yourself.

And if you just ask and don't even know what algorithms are than you seriously need to just stop.

I bet you don't even know what "mining" contributes to a currency.

A sad way of looking at it is that you make more money from working an hour, anywhere. Than you do from mining 24/7 for a whole year with a decent 'gaming' rig.

You see my mining rig has a 3 way SLI 270X in it and mining with a GTX 980 would be a dam crap idea because of it's architecture. You see from what i seen in litcoin mining is that mantle api really helps with the hasahs for some reason
