I haven't seen them mentioned in this thread but I've had issues with Mionix.

 

The Zibal keyboard that I originally got had faulty backlighting which developed as an issue over the course of a couple months (only the WASD keys will light up, second function to light the rest of the board is completely dead). All the keys still work and it feels good to type on, but it's a backlit keyboard that don't light up.

 

Online support was lovely, dealing with the distro in the US was a bit of a headache, they did send me a replacement, and within another month or so the replacement failed in exactly the same way. 

 

So they do appear to have some QC issues, and as such, I would avoid them.

steel series is about only good @ mice, and about 1/2 of their mice at that!

If OP's all about aesthetics, then yeah, fine go with one brand setup, but to me, this is a case of form over function. Pick the best of each brand and mix them up, only thing to concern yourself about in terms of aesthetics is that the colors, be it the material used and LED's, match.....and that's about it. Though I like Logitech, I don't think they make the best peripherals, same applies to Razer (some may like Razer, I abhor them), Thermaltake, Steel Series, Corsair.....and the list goes on.
