Graphics card for tripple monitor in future?

Whats a graphics card from the R9 and GTX series can handle 1080p triple monitors? The refresh rate probably caps at 60 - or more hz my budget is 250. My cpu is a xeon. But my 970 is being worked on for more cooling

I'd recommend at least a single 290 for triple 1080p if you want acceptable frame rates with settings turned up. If medium settings is okay then R9 280

Wouldn't it be better to wait for your 970 to come back in?  That's you're best bet rather than buying a new card.

 

Otherwise, you can probably get an R9 290/290X on sale for your budget, I wouldn't go any lower than that if you're gaming on all three.
