The ATH-M40x has great sound and a slight emphasis on the bass and costs around $100

First you say you want a headset then you say headphones. Which one is it?

This is why you should not get an FX CPU for ANY scenario other than rendering on a budget http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/286142-fx-8350-r9-290-psu-requirements/?p=3892901 http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/266481-an-issue-with-people-bashing-the-fx-cpus/?p=3620861

Well you say you're going to use it for studio production, so I guess I can run down studio monitor list.  Ideally you really should be getting speakers but that's just me rambling.

Sony MDRV6

AKG K240 (MK II is 50 dollars more so pick your poison)

Sennheiser HD 280

That's all I can think of really.

AD2000x Review  Fitear To Go! 334 Review

Speakers - KEF LSX

Headphones - Sennheiser HD650, Kumitate Labs KL-Lakh

Watch the video that guy linked. Theres also a lower budget one for 50-100 dollars. The same or better advice  than you'll get from here.

Lmao just shows how much you know. I don't disagree with anything Logan said in his video but you can't put everything in a 10 min video. Besides, he clearly stated that he was only going to talk about open headphones only which is not what he should be getting for studio production.

OP: I recommend Sony MDR 7506 over the M40x for comfortability and for studio production.
