So ive had my mind set on the ROG Swift but i would like to know if there are better gaming monitors out there.

Requirements:

-1440p

-BenQ, Asus any other reliable brand

-27"+

-no more than €800

G-Sync would be nice but not mandatory

not in 1440. Still to much horsepower required for 4k in my opinion for it to be a viable gaming option. If I was buying a new monitor today I would be looking at that Acer that just came out. On paper seems legit but damn that horsepower requirement.

there are pretty much zero alternatives to the rog swift. its the only 144hz 1440p monitor i know of

But if you actually read the post you would notice that 144hz was not a requirement!

But the only 1440p + gsync is ROG Swift but since it was not mandatory here is a list of monitors that meet your requirements:

i may have used gaming in a vague way :P yeah low response is nice but again, not a requirement. 120hz is still a high refresh rate
