So I was challenged to put together a parts list for a $350 gaming build and this is what i cam up with.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/s4Qk8d

I figure with the extra you could save for a GPU to throw in there, hence the 500W PSU.

Now what can y'all come up with for $350?

G3258 + Z97 Motherboard @ Microcenter for $100

Source 210 $30

CX430 $20 (usually on sale for that price)

R9 270 $110

1TB HDD $50

8GB Ram $60

Total $370

Didn't wanna put together in PCPP because I don't think they have the Microcenter deal & CX430 isn't on sale.

RIP in pepperonis m8s

LOL sorry if y'all didn't understand, but this isn't for me.  The whole point is to prove that  you could get into PC gaming for the price of a console, and get a GPU latter to keep up with games. :P

Why? I thought the point of PC was to spend more money because you save a ton by pirating all of your games.

Google Maps my location! 4th house from the corner on the left!

i mean for 350 without a gpu you can get some pree decent stuff but with gpu its rough and not worth it ^ as the build i made above shows

"Just buy a console"

"by pirating all of your games"

Right. We have steam for a reason, and how many of us use steam? Everyone. The point of a PC is to do everything that a console can do, and more.
