WD. Their Black HDDs are good if you're going to be installing games on them - or for whatever reason, need a relatively fast HDD.

Looking to get a 2 to 4 TB HDD to store my games on (under $200).  I am looking at around 1.5 TB for Steam alone.

 

I am afraid a 2TB may fill up soon, however.  I would prefer 7200RPM.  I don't want to pull the game over to my SSD unless I will be playing it often.

 

I was looking at one of these two.  Which of the two should I choose or is there something better?

 

WD WD3003FZEX 3TB

Seagate STBD3000100 3TB

Both companies are very reputable; the only one I would watch out for would be Hitachi, I hear some complaints occasionally about their drives  <_<

I actually couldn't underclock my 5 year old GPU to make it as slow as a next-gen console.
