help connecting

Go to solution Solved by airdeano,

These are the cables

here is a 'splaination.

hey guys

Its been a long time since ive built my own pc.

I recently bought a gtx760 + xfx ts 550 + asrock pro4.

The xfx has a ton of power cables and im not sure about which to connect to the gpu nor mobo.

Both gpu and mobo have an 8 pin connection.

Would it be fine to use either 8 pin connector of the psu, interchangeably?

Same question goes to a 6 pin connector on the psu. The psu has two 6 pin connectors (the gpu has 1 6 pin connection), but one of the psu's 6 pin connector has a side 2 pin connector while the other one hasn't.

Both say "b" while the 6 pin connector with the side 2 pin connector also says pci-e, but my gpu has no 2 pin connection.

Help!

Thanks

Pretty sure the PCI-E and EPS 8 pins aren't wired the same, don't try to use them.

They should be labelled.

6+2 are standard for PCI-E cables, the can either be used as 6 pin or 8 pin.
