Are you using the full desktop site? I'm in Chrome on an M8 and if you scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and click on the full site button, that will take you to the full site and then you can get to the full editor. Or, at least I can. Hope this helps.

well i can confirm it works on the s4 so that's 2 android devices.

To add formatting to your post on the mobile version of the site, you need to use BBCode

[font=monospace]Set the font to monospace[/font][color=#db4105]Set the colour to LTT Orange[/color] ([color=red] also works)[b]Bold[/b] [i]Italics[/i] [u]underlined[/u]

To view the BBCodes on the computer, you can click the little switch in the top left of the editor, and it will switch to BBCode view (click it again to switch back).

The nexus 9 uses the desktop site by default.

The formatting toolbar? It's not currently supported on mobile (a combination of the forum software doesn't support it, mobile devices (/browsers) don't like it, and it would use a fairly large amount of bandwidth to load it as far as I know).

When we update to IPB4 (the next version of the forum software) at some point next year, the intention is to have the rich editor work on mobile devices.
