Just got it today. Worked fine for about 6 hours. I hit the gamer profile button on my GPU tweak software and the screen goes black with "out of range" message. I jumped on my old monitor to revert the over clock and still nothing. On reboot I can get the swift to display the bios so I reset all my over clocks to normal. It shows the windows logo then just black again with the same message. I can't get it to display the desktop at all. Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?

are you able to reset your GPU OC?

if not see if you can boot to safe mode

Oh dear .. this is a known issue .. a lot of ROG Swift owners have issues with the monitor like no signal & blurry screens .. you need to RMA

Thats why I got the LG 34UM95 instead of the Swift .. read the reviews on newegg and amazon .. lots of people are complaining

Okay try using a different monitor with the same DP cable, if everything works this means the monitor must be returned

Im really sorry to hear that buddy .. as I said I did my research before buying a 1440p monitor, I really wanted the ROG Swift but was disappointed when I read all the issues that are going around. The funny thing is Acer 1080p G-Sync monitor have no such issues at all ..

So it started working again...I installed some software from the Asus website called multiframe which seems like it has nothing to do with it...I wonder if I try to oc my GPU again if it will break it
