so i ordered a lens from digital rev 5 days ago and it got from Hong Kong to the uk in 4 days just like my camera did last year. this year i ordered a tamron 70-200F2.8 vc usd and when it got here the AF didnt work so i call digital rev and after about 30min on the phone they said that they would replace it for free but i have to pay for the air mail which was £70 or $110. so i called them back and said that they will have to set up a courier service because im not paying that and that dont include insurance on a £1000 lens so they said sure we will send out a courier service... why make me pay then if i dont have to?

BTW its this lens on the camera

Any chance a direct-to-manufacturer inquiry would result in better service?

nope because when you import the lens they wont cover it

Might just be the cost of going with a cheaper distributor? Amazon carries it for £200 more than DigitalRev. Not sure about UK, but Amazon eats return shipping here. Sounds like that £200 was a roll of the dice that came up snake eyes. :( Best of luck!

I only knew about DigitalRev from their YouTube videos. Their store site is terrible to navigate.
