Looking for a cpu for live streaming and gaming. Its time to upgrade from my i5 2500k ( 720p/30 ) Looking for 1080p Streaming.. I guess i'll need a mobo also recommendations anyone?

Dont live stream, there are thousands of other streamers. 

 

Back on topic though. Go for the 4770K or 4790K

If you have the money, go with a i7 on x99. If not, save some money and go with a 8320 and buy a capture card and use your i5 rig as a streaming PC :D

Dont live stream, there are thousands of other streamers.

Back on topic though. Go for the 4770K or 4790K

Haha, but realize if you go to twitch there are millions of streamers who dont even have 1 viewer. We dont need more! :P

I think the only stream I got that had more than 5 viewers was of me doing a 2-hour drug/alchohol course and questionnaire required by my school.  Was hilarious.

If they don't even have one viewer, why would you care? It's not your bandwidth they're eating up. :P

There need to be a lot of mediocre ones for the good ones to rise to the surface. The next great streamer won't ever get started if they don't try.

 

+1 for the i7-4790K. Seriously, you don't really need X99.
