Installing OS trouble

I was using my computer when I had a soft hang so I had to force shutdown and it courrupted the OS but when I went to reinstall windows 8 for some reason the installer hangs on "setup is starting..."

Any help would be greatly appreceated :)

is there anyway that you could reformat the boot drive??

Your computer didn't get corrupted because you force shutdown your system. It got corrupted because the HDD or SSD that you have failed.

Ugh, 3 week old SSD :(

GoodBytes is right. You have either corrupted your SSD or the SSD you have is faulty. RMA it.

Its within a month you usually see an SSD fail because of manufacture error. If it passes 3minths, then it's most likely very solid (no manufacture errors)

Yeah so it was the SSD got it returned for a shiny new, exactly the same thing. But with all my stuff gone. Again. 

 

Don't you hate it when your backup dies while trying to do a network restore.
