i just looked at the smart readout on my drive in my home server and it says power on hours: 11,993 hours should i consider replacing it soon as it gets alot of use by 2-3 users all day everyday or should it be fine for a while, the drive is working fine atm but its kinda full (13 GBleft). if i were to replace would a wd red 2tb be ok for me

Just to note the drive is a seagate 1tb 7200rpm and its 3 years old

My PC specs are CPU: 6700k @4.7Ghz Ram: 16GB Corsair RGB Pro GPU: RTX 2070  PSU: RM650 CPU cooler: corsair H150 Case: corsair Motherboard: ASUS Z270 Pro SSD: 1tb Samsung 970 EVOand SK Hynix 1TB

I wouldn't replace it unless it begins to fail (starts ticking, slowing, beeping, etc.), but sometimes that can be too late.

I would say it's fine for now, but getting an additional drive just in case can't hurt. I would expect the drive to last a few thousand more hours.

WD Reds would be perfect :)

In any case, backup all data.

Thanks yea good point ill just get the WD red now then to upgrade my storage untill the 1tb dies

also the server boot drive (a 250gb seagate)has 10690 power on hours and that is used 24/7 as minecraft server drive its only 1 year and 3 months old would a wd red be ok for that as well or just get a 120gb ssd

If it's only being used as a Minecraft server, I would try to find a cheap low-capacity hard drive. Don't invest in an SSD, as the constant reads/writes when playing Minecraft will shorten the lifetime of the SSD and performance will not be improved much. I wouldn't bother upgrading it though; you may still be able to get a couple of years out of it. Just back up often and you should be okay :)
