I want to build my gaming pc and need some help with it. I'm currently still saving money for it, but my budget will be somewhere around $1000. is this enough for a good gaming pc? And what is the best build in my price range? I prefer to have a sleek design, with no LED's

Thanks!

Thanks! I could always upgrade though but as a start build I thought 1000 is fair. Would u recommend certain part's?

This is the rig i have planned to build sometime in the future when i have the money, It should fit you pretty good too.

It is Blue-Black themed with graphics performance, expandablility and lighter overclocking in mind(But the overclocking is only as backup when the 8350 gets too weak).

Why you prefer the Western Digital Caviar Blue over the black i heard it is much faster and it only cost 10$ more or so.

Why windows 7 if i may ask?

Becouse i already have a win7 code(And id rather have a unsupported win7 than win8 on a gaming machine in wait for win10),

You should change it to win8 since it will be supported for a longer time,

I think win7 will be discontinued in january next year.

It is also what I would build, So it is probably not the perfect match for you.

Because the black is loud, and not really needed. You won't really see much of a difference if you're just using it casually especially if you have an SSD too. The blue drive is very close to the performance and it's not as loud as the blacks are.

Except for the fact that you have a z87 board with an haswell refresh cpu. :P For most Z87 boards, you would need to update the BIOS with an older CPU to get it to work with the haswell refresh CPUs. Your GPU is already at the price range for a GTX 970, so might as well grab the 970 instead.
