both have some 1 star reviews so i dont know which one to pick. rosewill has 140mm fan but a top reviewer on amazon said it was loud and the corsair has 120mm fan. rosewill 7 year warranty corsair 3 years. if you had to pick one of these which one would you choose and why

The capstone is better. I've never encountered one with a loud fan.

i want semi so no to evga, is seasonic worth 26 more bucks compared to these 2..

Well IMHO it is. My mum has that exact SeaSonic one and it's been going good with no problems. So I can highly recommend it. :)

The capstone and s12g are similar and there's little point going with the more expensive of the two.

what about rosewills fanless 500w? is that actually good and silent or marketing?

It's silent with the fan off like any other decent psu and is better than the capstone. 

Why is the psu being quiet such a big issue?--most decent psus are much quieter than other pc components.

didnt know that, so i guess ill get the capstone with a define r5.
